The School of Biological Sciences Teaching Development Unit was established in 1998 to develop computer-based learning materials for all units of study provided by the School.
Since its establishement the TDU has broadened its client base to include other departments within the University of Sydney as well as external organisations.
The members of staff in TDU are Aida Yalcin (Manager) and Kathy Kuzmanovic. Both are trained course-ware developers with considerable expertise in computer-based learning.
The TDU is at present managed by a Steering Committee chaired by Peter McGee.
