Size of target audience - Submissions to develop materials for larger classes will be given higher priority.
Core Units of Study - Developments for use in the core components of the new intermediate units of study will receive priority.
Flexibility - Developments which can be used, or simply modified and used for other areas of teaching within the School, will be receive priority.
Funding - Funded projects will be viewed favourably.
Longevity - Developments for use over many years will be viewed more favourably.
Function - Is the project addressing an area of perceived difficulty with the current delivery mode or is the project intended to replace, supplement or is it additional to current or new delivery modes?
Quantity of current material being replaced - Where current approaches are ineffective or inefficient, developments which improve learning will be supported.
Use of the development (tutorial, assessment, interactive learning, reflective learning, guided learning, simulation, other?) - The greater the use, and the greater the importance of the use, the more likely the submission will be supported.
Cost of the component being replaced - Submissions aimed at replacing expensive components by relatively less expensive developments will be supported.
Relevance to the goals of the curriculum of the unit of study.
