Installation of QuickTime

Please note: these files are located on the CD, no internet connection is required.

Windows 2000/XP

Click on the link below and save the QuickTimeInstaller7.5.exe file to your computer.

Get QuickTime 7.5

Once saved, double click on QuickTimeInstaller7.5.exe to begin the installation. Read and click through the dialog boxes to complete the installation.

Mac OS X

There are several QuickTime installers for Mac. If you are unsure whether your Macintosh is Leopard or Panther, click on the Apple menu and select "About this Mac". In this window the Mac OS X version will be displayed. Click on the appropriate link below and save the QuickTime Installer file to your computer.

Get QuickTime 7.5 for Leopard (v10.5)

Get QuickTime 7.5 for Tiger (v10.4)

Once saved, double click the QuickTime Disk Image to open it in Finder, and then double click on the packaged file to begin the installation. The installer may run a check to determine if QuickTime can be installed, click "Continue" to allow the check. Read and click through the dialog boxes to complete the installation.
